Power of Storytelling

Traditional internal communication strategies are no longer working to build connections. Cultivating effective ways to communicate is vital for building relationships with internal and external clients by utilizing storytelling practices to strengthen communication skills and build compelling messages. Using workplace scenarios, this interactive session introduces effective practices designed to build leadership interpersonal skills as well as more vibrant cultures.

Learning Objectives:

  • Relay the importance and the need to be able to share a good story
  • Apply the elements of a storytelling process to introduce a topic, shape your messaging, and inspire action
  • Read your audience
  • Consider opportunities to implement this new competency and build credibility with all stakeholders
