Screencasts and Rapid Video Development for Professional Learning

Looking to increase your video ROI? In a world of YouTube fandom, consider looking at learning videos differently. In this session, you will learn how to empower your team to use and create their own library of point-of-need micro support videos and communication tools using easy-to-use video editing software (or even your phone)!

Participants who attend this session will learn how to: identify and anticipate moments where performers may most benefit from point of need support; leverage video as a new tool for a-synchronous communication of complex topics; and craft, create, and record micro support videos to support organizational and performer outcomes.

Joe Jahnigen is passionate about working alongside a high-functioning team that can solve any problem through collaboration, iteration, and asking the right questions. Before joining the TiER1 team, Joe spent the first decade of his career as a performer and professional drummer touring the US and Europe. Joe still has a passion for big band drumming; in his free time, you can see him performing with the Flying Circus Big Band.

Joe has 15+ years of experience in the classroom as a music teacher. He specialized in blended instruction using video lessons as well as focusing on problem-solving and collaboration. Joe also spent two years as an education consultant, focusing on the effective use and integration of technology in schools.
