Jennifer Hindman is currently the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Community Health Network in the Howard Region. With more than 20 years of experience in talent management and operations at Community Howard, she has previously held the positions of Regional Human Resources Director, Director of Operations, and Director of Organizational Development. Jennifer has a passion for leadership development and enjoys mentoring, coaching and encouraging others to fulfill their purpose.
At Community Howard Regional Health, Jennifer leads a team that encompasses the following services; Imaging, Environmental, Food and Nutrition, Behavioral Health, Inpatient and Outpatient OT, PT, and Speech Therapies, Wound Care, Infection Prevention, Security, Biomedical, Oncology, Spiritual, Clinical Lab, Volunteers, and the Community Howard Specialty Hospital operations. Jennifer’s main responsibilities include providing for and supporting a unified culture and infrastructure, coordination between personnel, structure, and the organization’s strategic plan, necessary support for all operations, guidance to deliver on the vision for Community Health Network, and ensuring organizational business outcomes and accountability.
Jennifer is a member of; the Community Howard Specialty Hospital Board of Managers, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Crossing – Kokomo, Board, Howard County Family Services Association Board of Directors, Society of Human Resources Management, the Association for Talent Development and a past member of the Indiana Works Region 4 Council.
A native of Indiana, Jennifer now lives in Tipton County, with her husband, Cameron, and their two sons, Cale and Conner, around 60 chickens, and two dogs. When not working, Jennifer likes to knit, read, and binge watch an awesome NetFlix series!
