Include All Learners - Integrating Accessibility into your Learning
Experiences
Jonathan Wilson
About the session: In this session, you will learn how to design learning experiences that
address the needs of your learners with disabilities. Many people struggle with making their
courses accessible to all audiences.
First, we will explore the different types of disability categories and the regulations and standards
around accessibility.
Second, we will explore some practical techniques you can use to address accessibility in your
learning in the design phase.
Finally, we will learn some simple techniques to convince your stakeholder of the importance of
making your learning accessible.
Designing for accessibility doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. You will leave this
session with an approach to integrate accessibility into your learning by design.
