Marc Hardy is from Indianapolis, IN., and graduated from Pike High School before attending  Indiana University-Bloomington. In 2015, Marc got his career start in school operations where he spent 6 years molding the future generations through various school operational roles. In 2017, Marc released his book, ‘CAN I BE REAL?’ which kickstarted his work in diversity, equity, and inclusion. From there he started CAN I BE REAL Inc. a 501c3 non-profit which led him to transitioning into a full time DEI role at Paramount Schools of Excellence. In 2022, he pivoted into the finance industry as the VP, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Merchants Bank.
