Video Voice Mastering

Second Friday of the Month

3:30-4:30 PM

Co-Chairs: Linda Carney Wiles, MATD - linda.carneywiles@medxcelfm.com

Brandi Jerdi- Brandi.Jerde@medxcelfm.com

Use your voice to express your message. If speech is how you use words, voice is how you create sound.  Your voice is a bigger and more important than you may think, especially to those listening. To your listeners, your voice is a part of who you are and what you believe.. They'll judge your sincerity and credibility in part by your voice. For example, you could speak in a loud, booming voice; you could mutter; you could speak quickly and not pause; or you could speak in a dry, monotone voice. Each of these would communicate something completely different to your audience, regardless of the content of your message. It follows that to be a good presenter, you must take care of your voice and learn to use it effectively. The proper use of your voice can emphasize and strengthen every message you deliver.

The workshop will cover:

  • Tips for writing and preparing your script
  • Tips for recording your script
  • Tips for mastering your voice when recording or speaking in front of a group, and
  • Tips for editing your recording

There is no charge for the Facilitation Special Interest Group meetings, and these meetings are for members of ATD Central Indiana only.  Registration is requested  to ensure all attendees have seating and resources available.
