One key component of presentations is participant engagement. Many people have difficulty paying attention in traditional settings, in both face-to-face and virtual environments. The goal of any presentation is to inform; however, if your audience doesn’t pay attention, the message is lost. This session will focus on methods to increase audience engagement.
There are two approaches to engaging your audience 1) convince them the information is needed to make their life easier, or 2) wake up their competitive spirit with a game. The first choice is intrinsic in some people but can be a battle for many; the second connects with a much broader audience.

There is no charge for the Facilitation Special Interest Group meetings, and these meetings are for members of ATD Central Indiana only. There is no long-term commitment for ongoing attendence required, we'd be delighted to have you join us when you're available. Registration is requested to ensure all attendees have seating and resources available.
