Learning in the workplace is far from most traditional learning environments. Often we need to develop relationships, build rapport and establish credibility in an extremely short amount of time. We must also manage emotions and potential barriers our participants may bring to the classroom. As facilitators we need be able to identify these potential disruptions and change or adapt our training plans accordingly.
During this session we will discuss how to adjust while ensuring learning objectives are met. Even though our time is often limited in the classroom, we must ensure we are adhering to credentialing or continuing education guidelines.

There is no charge for current members to attend. Communities of Practice meetings are part of the value of your membership in ATD CIC . Communities of Practice are designed for members of ATD-CIC, guests may attend once but will need to join ATD to continue attending. Communities of Practice have no long-term commitment for ongoing attendance. We'd be delighted to have you join us when you're available. There is parking in the front, south side, and back of the building. When you enter the building, you can have a seat in the entrance waiting area and someone will be down to greet and escort you. Please arrive 15 minutes early to get the best seat.
