Date: October 17th, 2013 Time: Session runs from 8:00am – 9:15am Location: Web and call-in information will be provided to the attendees the day before the event.
In this session we'll talk briefly about what the Tin Can API is and why it was created. During the rest of our time together we'll focus on how it can be used by an organization to improve its ability to study the things employees do. Throughout this session, Andy will share numerous example projects worth considering for you organization.
The Tin Can API is a brand new specification for learning technology that makes it possible to collect data about the wide range of experiences a person has (online and offline). We called this process Project Tin Can because it was meant to be a two-way conversation between us and the e-learning industry. It’s only fitting that the solution be named the Tin Can API – an elegant solution for letting learning systems communicate with one another. Check out a much more detailed explanation of Project Tin Can.
