Speaker Bio
Marietta Frye was born in Poland during the communist era, where she learned the values of appreciation, gratitude, and resilience amid scarcity. Following the fall of the Berlin Wall, she earned a bachelor’s degree in business, worked for a German pharmaceutical company, and spent her summers in the United States learning English.
When the events of September 11, 2001, made international travel more difficult, Marietta remained in the United States and earned a graduate degree from Indiana University Fort Wayne. After graduating, she dedicated more than two decades to higher education, supporting students throughout their academic journeys.
Marietta holds a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. Her research interests include global leadership, culture, and organizational change. Her dissertation explored the experiences of Polish immigrant leaders who drive organizational change in the United States.
Currently, Marietta works at Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company, where she contributes to the company’s mission of “Advancing the Kingdom by serving the Church.” She firmly believes that God led her to Brotherhood Mutual as part of her calling to serve others.
