How to Leverage a Learning Management System (LMS)

Thursday, April 17

8am to 9:30am

Registration: 7:30am – 8:00am

So, you’ve implemented an LMS – Now What?

You worked really hard to create a business case, jumped through all your organizational hoops and implemented a learning management system (LMS).  You know it is a great piece of technology that adds values to your organization but how do you get others to join you in the excitement in using the LMS?  Do your employees think of the LMS as a place to take online training or do they see it as a tool to manage their personal development and advance their career?  How can you leverage the data in the LMS to tell a story?  Come to this highly interactive session to get the answers to these questions and more.  By the end of the session, you will be able to:

  1. List at least three ways to increase adoption of your LMS
  2. Create an elevator speech to describe the business impact of your LMS
  3. Identify ways to engage key business partners to support the advancement of the LMS
  4. See examples of how to use metrics to tell a story to employees, training administrators and other key stakeholders
  5. List three ways to move your organization to view the LMS as a career development tool
