Session Description

As Talent Development professionals, we are actively engaged in 2024 strategic planning for the professional development of the employees within our organization.  But what about our own development? Will the “Cobblers Children have Shoes?”

Use the Talent Development Capability Model to leverage your strengths to prioritize your most important skill gaps and create a learning plan personalized to your needs. Track your ongoing progress right in the model. Talent Development professionals have free access to the tool.

Where is this event?

ATD CIC will feature the ATD Capability Model at our January monthly program on January 19, 2024, at Launch Fishers at 12175 Visionary Way, Fishers, IN. Learn about the model including the capabilities to develop your personal, professional, and organizational capacities. 

 We’ve created an engaging, facilitated program focused solely on our membership and opportunities for your personal development. 

Who should attend?

Any level of expertise, from individual contributors to senior or executive, in the talent development function can benefit from this assessment and the creation of an individualized development plan.  

What To Expect

As attendees to this program, participants will:

• Be introduced or reintroduced to the ATD Capability model.
• Explore the capabilities to make connections to their daily work.
• Review the use of the capability model by the Houston ATD Chapter as a professional development tool for membership.
• Recognize the value of assessment results to inform programming for ATD CIC into 2024 and beyond.
• Begin planning for their assessment using the model.
